Amalfi Coast

If heaven is a place on Earth, the Amalfi Coast is IT. 

These photos were taken in 2013, while my husband and I were staying in Positano for our honeymoon. I find myself mentally revisiting these views and memories more often than any others.

I love how soft the above photo is. It captures the serene silence and unbelievable beauty of the water from where we stood on the Pathway of the Gods, or Sentiero degli Dei. 

The ombré sapphire colors that I love to use so much in interiors evoke the shades of sea, sky, and clouds here. They are also a nod to the many shades of summer sky reflected in ancient fountains, lagoons, and lakes across Italy.
